I am sorry to announce that this Weblog has been suspended. It was intended to get feedback from our community. Unfortunately, some people have misused this tool.

When I started as webmaster for BCLL, I took over a site with very little content, and I was proud to add features and information, in a package that I hope was attractive. When I tried to add a guestbook function, I found very quickly that too much time and resources would be needed to keep unscrupulous individuals that wrote programs from post ing unsavory information on our website. The solution was to use Google's Blog tool (Blogger) that had safeguards built in.

Now, the actions of a few "adults" from our own community has made it clear that I will have to spend excessive time to keep this Blog clear of equally unsavory content. It seems that there are always a few to ruin things for all.
